Sad to say, the end of year is upon us! I have
thoroughly enjoyed having all students in my classes
this year, and will miss them over the summer. Please
keep in touch!
The summer is long, but 5th grade will quickly arrive.
In order to prepare your child for a challenging year,
please READ to them as much as possible over the summer,
and have your child read to you! Practice
multiplication facts and APPLY them to real world
problems...at the grocery store, measuring around the
house, buying their favorite video game, etc.

Writing
Sometime this week the FCAT Writes scores will arrive.
We anticipate all students passing with at least a 4.0!
However, not all students receive the score they were
hoping for or expecting. Please encourage your
child to look at the scores in a positive way, as a
reflection of their work on the day they took that test.
